Yes, Myflats Luxury Cathedral Alicante is totally worth it–especially if you want to be right in the middle of everything. 

It’s in the heart of El Barrio de Santa Cruz (which is the best area to stay in Alicante), just around the corner from the cathedral and only a 7-minute walk to the beach. 

The studio apartment is super spacious and modern, with a comfy king-sized bed, dining table, and a full kitchen that’s perfect if you’re staying longer (there’s even a washing machine and dishwasher!). 

I only stayed for two nights, but it would be a great spot for a longer trip.

Just keep in mind there’s no front desk–it’s more of a self-catering setup, and they meet you at check-in and stay available via WhatsApp if you need anything. 

The balcony has incredible views of Santa Barbara Castle, and even though I heard a little street noise on Saturday night, it didn’t keep me up.

Overall, the whole place felt really clean, comfortable, and affordable, and I’d highly recommend staying there!

Location

Myflats Luxury Cathedral is located at Calle San Pascual, 11 right in the middle of El Barrio de Santa Cruz, which is such a fun and walkable area to stay in Alicante. 

It’s just behind the cathedral and on the same street as a few cute spots with outdoor seating, so you’re close to the action without it being too loud. 

I arrived on the train and took a quick taxi from the Renfe train station and was there in under 10 minutes. It’s also only a 5-minute walk to the Explanada and about 7 minutes to Playa del Postiguet, which was super convenient. 

The balcony overlooks a little street in the old town, and while I heard a bit of street noise on Saturday night, it was super quiet the next day. 

I felt really safe walking around, even at night, and it’s the perfect spot for checking out all the top things to do in Alicante on foot.

Rooms

I booked the standard Studio apartment, but they also offer a Deluxe Studio, Superior Studio, and even a 1-Bedroom Apartment if you want more space. 

My studio was way more spacious than I expected, with a comfy king-sized bed, a dining table, and a ridiculously huge flat-screen TV. 

It also had a full kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and a full-size fridge–which I didn’t end up using, but would be super handy for a longer stay. 

The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower, and everything felt really clean and modern. 

There was also an in-room safe, which was a nice bonus. Honestly, I had zero complaints–it was a super comfortable place to come back to after exploring the city.

Rooftop

There’s a small rooftop area that all guests can use, and it’s a nice little spot to relax with a drink. 

When I visited, the lounge chairs didn’t have cushions out (maybe that’s just a seasonal thing) but the views of the Cathedral, Santa Barbara Castle, and El Barrio were still really nice. 

It’s not huge, but it’s a cute bonus if you want a quiet place to hang out for a bit.

Service

Service was super smooth, but just keep in mind this is more of a self-catering setup–there’s no front desk like a traditional hotel. 

You’ll need to call or message them about 30 minutes before you arrive so they can meet you for check-in and give you the access codes for the building and room (everything’s electronic). 

They were really responsive over WhatsApp, and even though I didn’t need much during my stay, it was nice knowing they were available. 

You can store your luggage if needed, but just note that it’s at a separate spot a few blocks away. Overall, the process was easy and well-organized as long as you know what to expect.

Value

I thought Myflats Luxury Cathedral was a great value for the money, especially considering the location and amenities. 

The prices are a bit higher than some other spots, but totally worth it if you’re staying more than a couple nights–having a full kitchen and washing machine is super convenient. 

The apartment feels very new and modern, but the historic building still has that old-town charm. 

While there’s no on-site service, everything was easy to coordinate and communication was solid. And honestly, you can’t beat the location–it’s right in the center of everything without being too noisy.
