Hotel Don Ramón Seville: Pros & Cons
Hotel Don Ramón Seville Review: Location
Hotel Don Ramón is located at Calle Trajano, 2, right in the heart of the Centro neighborhood, which is one of the best areas to stay in Seville.
It’s kind of located on the north end of Centro, but still super close to everything you’ll want to see. I was able to walk everywhere and never had to use public transportation.
The area feels very safe and it’s easy to get around on foot, with lots of shops around, including a huge El Corte Inglés, and many restaurants and bars nearby.
Even though it’s in a lively area, the hotel is on a quiet street, so there wasn’t any noise at night.
And if you’re arriving from the airport, it’s about a 20-minute drive to the hotel. Taxis and Ubers are readily available if needed, and the hotel can assist with arranging private transfers.

Hotel Don Ramón Seville Review: Rooms
Here’s a breakdown of the guestroom and bathroom at Hotel Don Ramón Seville:
Guestroom
I stayed in the Deluxe Room, and it honestly felt like a palace!
It was one of the prettiest rooms I’ve ever stayed in, with white and royal blue accents, gorgeous tile floors, and textured walls that really showcased the Andalucian style.
The room was very spacious, with an elegant four-poster king-sized bed and 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets that were incredibly comfortable.

It also had an espresso machine, tea service, and a minibar for extra convenience.
There was a desk area and a flat-screen smart TV, plus a laptop-friendly safe in the closet with an outlet inside. They also provide a cute beach bag and towel for the pool, which I loved.
My room overlooked the interior courtyard, which I think is actually better than the hotel’s exterior views. Overall, it was so stunning and incredibly comfortable and I’d give it a 10/10!
Tip: If you’re looking to upgrade, the hotel also offers a variety of gorgeous suites with extra space, and some with outdoor patios.

Bathroom
The marble bathroom at Hotel Don Ramón was split into two rooms, which was almost like a double bathroom.
The main room had a luxurious clawfoot tub and double vanity, while the separate room next to it had a rain shower, toilet, and another sink.
I honestly loved the bathroom—the tub was such a treat for relaxing after a long day. Plus, there were comfortable bathrobes and slippers to make it even more indulgent.
And as a woman, I also really appreciated the BaByliss hair dryer and straightener, which is something most hotels don’t offer.
Another cool thing was that they contacted me before my stay to ask which bathroom toiletries I preferred. You could choose between Nuxe, Codage, or Portus Cale, which was a nice personal touch.

Hotel Don Ramón Seville Review: Amenities
Here’s a breakdown of the amenities at Hotel Don Ramón Seville:
El Limón Restaurant
El Limón Restaurant is set in a beautiful interior “Lemon courtyard” with a small fountain, lemon trees, and elegant decor.
There’s also an adjacent indoor bar and restaurant area with the same stylish design.
I tried the breakfast, which isn’t included in the room rate but costs around 25€ and comes with toasts, cold meats, egg dishes, pancakes, pastries, juices, coffee, and more.
The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, offering a tapas menu along with a full selection of appetizers, seafood, and meat dishes.
I thought the restaurant was beautiful–it’s a really calm and lovely spot to enjoy a relaxed meal during your stay.
Bonus: Hotel Don Ramón Seville also offers 24-hour room service in case you want to enjoy breakfast in bed or a late-night meal in your room.

Rooftop & Pool
The rooftop area at Hotel Don Ramón is super cute and perfect if you’re visiting during the warmer months.
Seville gets seriously hot in the summer, so having a pool is a huge bonus!
There’s a very stylish bar and lounge area with tables, couches, and chairs set under a flower-covered canopy.
You’ll also find a row of comfortable lounge beds with umbrellas, which are great for relaxing in the afternoon.
The only downside is that the pool is on the smaller side and set apart from the lounge beds, but it’s still a great spot to cool off and take a break from the heat.

Hotel Don Ramón Seville Review: Service
Overall, I was impressed with the service at Hotel Don Ramón.
Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and spoke English, which made everything super easy.
The Front Desk reached out before my stay to ask about my toiletry preferences, allergies, or dietary restrictions, which was a nice touch.
I also received nightly turndown service, and butler service is available if you request it.
And when I arrived, I received a welcome drink, along with a small bottle of sherry waiting for me in the room with a personalized note.
I used to work in luxury hotels, so while I wouldn’t say the service was true 5-star in terms of personalization or anticipating needs, the team did a great job of making sure I was comfortable.
Hotel Don Ramón Seville Review: Value
I think Hotel Don Ramón offers good value if you’re looking for a luxury hotel in Seville.
It’s definitely on the expensive side, but the design is so thoughtful and well-executed that you really feel like you’re staying somewhere special.
The whole place reflects the essence of Seville in a way that feels intentional and unique.
The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, and having a soaking tub to relax in after a long day of walking around the city was a huge plus.
The rooftop pool and bar are also a nice bonus, especially in the warmer months.
I also appreciated the generous check-in and check-out times at 3pm and 12pm, and the fact that you get to choose from luxury toiletries adds to the experience.
